Breath retraining & diaphragm release

TMJ Release is a specialised manual therapy designed to gently address tension and dysfunction in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) — the hinge connecting your jawbone to your skull. Using precise myofascial release techniques, this therapy targets the muscles and fascia surrounding the jaw to soften restrictions, restore balance, and support natural movement.

The TMJ can become tight or misaligned due to stress, clenching, grinding, poor posture, or trauma, often leading to a variety of uncomfortable symptoms. TMJ disorder (TMD) can manifest as:

- Jaw pain or tightness
- Clicking or popping in the jaw
- Earaches or a feeling of fullness in the ears
- Toothaches not caused by dental issues
- Chronic headaches or migraines
- Facial tension or tenderness
- Neck and shoulder pain
- Difficulty chewing or opening the mouth fully

During a TMJ Release session, gentle hands-on techniques are used to release fascial adhesions, reduce muscle tightness, and encourage the jaw to realign naturally. This approach not only eases localised discomfort but can also bring relief to associated symptoms throughout the head, neck, and shoulders.

Whether you're dealing with long-term jaw tension or looking to alleviate related pain and dysfunction, TMJ Release offers a gentle yet effective path toward relief and restored balance.
